Using Numbers in Your Titles
One of the key elements in our strategy is focusing on numbers. Titles with numbers perform exceptionally well. For instance, titles like “5 Ways to Improve Your Engagement” or “10 Destinations You Must Visit” capture attention. When creating content, make sure the title includes a number.
Optimizing Thumbnails
Your thumbnail title for Reels or carousel posts should also include these numbers. Add an intriguing subheading to provide more context about your content. This step can be skipped if you’re struggling to come up with something creative, but it’s highly recommended for better engagement.
Providing Compact Value
Next, pack your content with value. For instance, if you’re talking about “7 Chinese Restaurants in Seoul that Offer Ocean Views,” gather all the necessary information to create engaging Reels or carousel posts.
For carousels, tools like Canva can be extremely helpful. Ensure your carousel contains 7–10 slides to effectively introduce each restaurant. For Reels, tools like CapCut or Canva will help you create content that’s under a minute long.
Adding Value in Captions
Don’t stop at just posting; add additional value to your captions. Summarize the key points or provide extra insights to make your audience feel compelled to save or share your content. The goal is for your audience to feel, “I need to save this post for later” or “I want to share this with my friends.”
Versatility Across Industries
These strategies aren’t just limited to hospitality or food-related industries. They can be applied to education, language learning, marketing, and more. No matter your industry, this approach will help boost your engagement in a short period.
Practical Tips
- Reels vs. Carousel: If you're short on time, focus more on Reels since they take less time to create compared to carousels.
- Repurposing Content: You can repurpose your Reels for other platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. Repurposing helps maximize your reach and digital visibility.
