Standing out in the sea of competitors doesn’t happen overnight; it requires a strategic approach. By now, we know that understanding customer personas is crucial, but how can we transform these insights into actionable content?
Worry not, for this blog post is an in-depth discussion on understanding the value and different types of content creation. Discover which content aligns with the interest of your target audience, and watch your leads and sales increase over time!
1. Understand the secrets of Content Creation...
When it comes to content creation and if they have “waving fans”, there 5 strategies in their social media. 3Es, 1R, 1V.

1)Educational
Post content related to your industry, providing something helpful for your audience that naturally brings “saves” and “shares.”
2)Entertaining
Use your attractive character or your business’s brand image to create any type of content that entertains your audience.
3)Emotional
Everyone wants to hear your story—how you decided to run your business, the behind-the-scenes story of your business or yourself, or even current difficulties you continue to overcome.
4)Relatable
People want to follow like-minded individuals, just as they have like-minded friends. So if you can discover your personality, categorize it, and use it in your content creation, people will naturally follow your account.
5)Valuable
In human nature, most of us have FOMO (fear of missing out). If your content is something they don’t know or they miss, they will crave to follow you.
Our goal is to merge at least two of these strategies in your content to turn your audience into devoted fans.
Now, let's explore some examples.
I’ve analyzed Semrush‘s social media. Their target audience is marketers, and they are a SaaS platform.
(1) Relatable + Entertaining + Valuable + Educational

2.Understand the types of content creation
Here is a simple guide to the types of content creation:
Broadly,
Static
Non-video content.
Dynamic
Video content.
Specifically,
1)Image-based posts
Such as memes, quotes, something we can upload on Instagram.
2)Text-based posts
Blog posts, Facebook posts, and LinkedIn articles that can be either long-form or short-form like Twitter threads.
3)Short-form videos
Reels, Shorts, TikTok Videos. This is the one you can quickly start to generate your business/brand awareness since you can simply upload your one video to 3 platforms or more at once.
4)Long-form videos
Youtube videos. Lives on Facebook and more.

Now, let’s see how we can incorporate these frameworks into your content creation.
I want to share examples from my own business marketing to help you better understand my point and to demonstrate whether it truly works or not.
For your information, my target audience includes like-minded individuals/businesses like myself: those passionate about personal growth, proficient in multiple languages (especially English as a second language), aspiring to expand/run their businesses globally (particularly in South Korea, Japan, and English-speaking markets), and advocates for equality and diversity, with supporting women and addressing discrimination based on gender and race.
Section: 1) Emotional+ Relatable & Image-based post
(1) Inspirational
- I used a viral and relatable image as a hook and paired it with a caption filled with emotional and relatable content, sharing my story.
- This type of post can be adapted for various platforms, including Twitter and Threads, by breaking down the caption.
- This approach resulted in a 5x increase in reach with non-followers.

(2) Personal Journey (Inspirational or motivational)
- Showcase your experiences, and challenges, and highlight them in your personal or business journey.
- Invite your audience to join you on your path, fostering a genuine connection.

Section: 2) Valuable + Educational +Short-form video
(1) 3 factors to consider….
- This generated 10x more reach and interactions than others.
- Utilizing lists, such as ‘3 factors,’ ‘Top 5,’ or ’10 things you should know,’ often works well.

(2) Finding posts that you posted years ago (urgency)
- Combining content topics with a sense of ‘urgency’ and employing SEO strategies will lead to consistent views, leads, and sales.

Section: 3) Entertaining + Relatable + Short-form video +(Trending music)
(1)POV
When someone asks me… about my country

Just remember one thing –
“It’s all about honesty and authenticity.” Instead of overusing filters, focus on helping your audience and sharing your full story. It may take time, but eventually, you will achieve your goals.
Also, remember that content creation is a journey. When you come across content with high views, keep in mind that some creators may delete videos with low views. Stay consistent and keep going!
